Privacy policy
Effective August 17, 2026
The short version: we use what you send us to answer you and price your job. We do not sell it, and your phone number does not leave this company.
Information you give us
The estimate form asks for five things. The town your project is in, the kind of work you need, your name, your phone number and your email. There is also an optional box where you can tell us about the rooms, the square footage or the timing.
Along with that we can see which form you used, the one on the home page or the one on the contact page. That is the whole list. We do not ask for your street address, your date of birth or anything financial, and nothing else is collected from the form in the background.
How we use it
Four things. We answer you. We schedule a visit to look at the work. We put together a written estimate. And we keep talking to you about that project while it is running.
That is all. Sending the form does not sign you up for anything.
How we contact you
By phone, by email or by text message, whichever fits what you gave us. A person answers you. There is no automated system dialing your number and no robot writing the replies.
If you would rather be reached another way, tell us and we will use that one. If you want us to stop contacting you, tell us that instead and we will stop. Either one is fine at any point, and you do not owe us a reason.
Your phone number is not for sale. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it or hand it to anybody for their marketing. It stays here, and it is used to talk to you about your project.
Cookies and measurement
If this site is running Google Analytics or advertising tags, those tools place cookies in your browser and record how the site gets used. What they see is which pages you opened, how long you stayed, roughly where you are based on your IP address, what kind of device you are on, and what brought you here, such as a search or a link from another site.
That is measurement, not identification. It tells us which pages are worth keeping and which ones nobody reads. Your browser can block or clear those cookies, and the site works fine without them.
Service providers
Netlify hosts this website and receives the estimate forms. What you type reaches them first and comes to us from there.
Google receives the measurement data described above, if those tags are active.
Those are the only two companies in the middle. Nobody else gets your information from us.
How long we keep it
We keep what you sent for as long as we need it to answer you and finish the conversation. If the project actually happens, the paperwork stays with our business records for as long as a contractor is required to keep them.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time. Email horsthplastering@hotmail.com with the name and phone number you used, and we will remove it. If there is something we have to keep for a job we already did, we will tell you what it is and why.
Children
This site is meant for adults hiring work on a building. We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13. If a child sent us something through the form, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS and we take reasonable care with what you send us. No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. There is no separate notice, so that date is the thing to check.
